Offensive Coordinator
Tim Beck

During his thirteen years as PSU Offensive Coordinator, the Gorilla Offense has been on of the best in D II.  Up until 2004, rushing was the bread and butter of the Gorillas.  But with the record-breaking offense of 2004 the Gorillas have evolved from a split-back veer team to a multi-dimensional offense.  For each of the last three seasons the Gorilla offense been the top two in scoring. Much of that success can be attributed to the hard work of offensive coordinator Tim Beck.

Under Beck, the Pitt State offense led the nation in rushing in 1995 and 2004, averaging 318.8  and 345.7 yards per game respectively. His offenses have averaged nearly 300 yards per game rushing and led the MIAA in scoring in the 1994, 1995, 2001, 2004, 2005, and 2006. The Gorillas had the top rushing offense in the MIAA in 1994, 1995, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001,  2002, 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2006.  For the past four season

Beck became the offensive coordinator in 1994 after serving as defensive coordinator during the 1992 and 1993 seasons.

A member of the AFCA, Beck is a featured speaker at clinics and events.

He and his wife Gena (a former track athlete at PSU) have hour children.  Derek is the oldest at thirteen  while Sydney is eleven, Drew is nine, and Samantha is two.
